WHAT IS PERMANENT JEWELRY?
Permanent jewelry is custom-fit jewelry made with high-end materials such as 14k gold-filled and sterling silver. Our high-quality chains are water-safe, long-lasting, and will not turn, tarnish, or rust.
Permanent jewelry is clasp-less, pain-less, and hassle-free. The process of choosing your chain is the best part! Bring your BFF, sister, mom, daughter, significant other, etc., and get matching styles that are meant to be worn every day for effortless style.
TRAVEL
Our chains are TSA-friendly, so you never have to worry about taking off or removing your jewelry while traveling.
SURGERIES / MRI
Always consult your doctor to determine whether your permanent jewelry needs to be removed prior to a surgery, MRI, or other medical procedure.
Permanent jewelry is not recommended for those with a gold or silver sensitivity or an implanted pacemaker.
REMOVAL
Removal is easy. Use a pair of scissors or wire cutters to cut your piece at the point where it was welded. Save your chain in case you’d like to have it reattached in the future.
Or, we will happily remove it for you at no cost.
LIFETIME REWELD WARRANTY
We offer a lifetime reweld warranty and complimentary repairs on True by Kristy permanent jewelry.
To qualify for a complimentary repair or reweld, you must have the following:
• the original chain in your possession
• chain must be in workable condition
• proof of purchase is required. No exceptions
Complimentary repairs and rewelds are available Monday through Friday only. Appointments are not required. We are unable to accommodate complimentary repairs or rewelds on weekends due to scheduled service appointments and higher customer volume.
Please keep in mind that permanent jewelry is delicate by nature and must be handled with care. While our chains are designed and meant to last when properly cared for, they are not indestructible. Chains can stretch, weaken, break, or become damaged if they are pulled, snagged, caught on something, or exposed to excessive force. Normal wear and tear can also weaken a chain over time. We are not responsible for wear and tear. We ensure your chain is properly welded before you leave.
Our lifetime warranty covers repairs and rewelds when the original chain is available and can be safely repaired. It does not cover lost chains or replacement chains. If a chain is lost or too damaged or weakened to be repaired, a new chain will need to be purchased.
Permanent jewelry is meant to be enjoyed long-term, but proper care is essential to maintaining the integrity and longevity of your piece.
If you have an issue with your permanent jewelry, please contact us at info@truebykristy.com prior to visiting so our team can better assist you. When contacting us, please include photos of the piece, proof of purchase, and a brief description of what happened. Our team will review the information and advise you on the best next steps for repair or replacement.
For permanent jewelry that was not originally purchased or applied by True by Kristy, we are happy to assist with a repair or reweld when possible. A $25 repair/reweld fee per piece applies to all non-TBK permanent jewelry. The original chain must be in your possession and in workable condition. Please note that we cannot guarantee or warranty the condition, quality, or longevity of jewelry purchased from another retailer.

Rest assured, you’re getting a high-quality product when you book a permanent jewelry appointment with us. We got you!
Please note: Chains can get dirty, dull, or darken with normal wear depending on your skin’s natural chemistry. Polishing and/or cleaning your permanent jewelry regularly is suggested to restore its shine.
True by Kristy will not replace dirty, dull, or darkened items due to wear and tear or your skin’s natural chemistry. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Gently wipe the metal surface with a soft cloth to clean.
CANCELLATION POLICY
A $25 deposit is required to book your permanent jewelry appointment and will be applied to your total purchase. The deposit is non-refundable.
If you need to reschedule your appointment, please contact us at info@truebykristy.com at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment.
We cannot accept a cancellation within 24 hours of a scheduled appointment. If you are a no-show for your appointment, your deposit will be forfeited.
